Public relations manager of the International Resistance Film Festival announced that the Executive Council Director and members of the festival have been introduced, adding that “In this context, Mr. Mohsen Barmahani has been assigned as the director of the international festival, and that Mr. Ehsan Kaveh, Mr. Ahmad Noroozi, as well as Mr. Hussein Panahi have been selected as members of the international planning and executive board.

Dear ingenious artist Mr. Mohsen Barmahani
Considering your experience, competence, and merit in international cinema, you have been chosen to be Director of the Fifth International Resistance Film Festival. The Resistance Film Festival has become a base for world resistance filmmakers over the past years. Henceforth, and based on past achievements, we hope to see further development in the context of enhancing communication with thematic festivals (on resistance), the continuity of activities, ongoing action of NGOs, universities and centers in different countries, the provision and support of works’ production and the discovery of emerging and active talents. We hope to witness high and unprecedented records in this context. We ask Allah the Almighty to bless you. As members of the international planning and executive council, to you we express our gratitude.
In this newsletter, the following information is presented on the members of the Resistance International Film Festival Executive Council:
Mohsen Barahmani: Graduate from Cinema school with a BA and holding an MA in film production from the IRIB University. He has numerous TV productions and documentaries; many of which have won prizes in different international festivals. He has also been selected as the best teenage artist and has been listed in the Excellence book of the last hundred years. He served as the foreign affairs and programs office director at al-Alam TV channel, manager of documentaries department at Press TV, has tens of articles and interviews published in the various local and foreign newspapers and many interviews on TV. He was a speaker and member of jury in several international festivals such as the Amy festival. He has also been the manager of sales and international department in the Iranian Youth cinema Society (IYCS). He has been very active and present at multiple activities (all mentioned in his resume). In 2010, he established Ayat Media in Turkey, which has agencies in several countries today, including Iran. He is also active in the field of media production, distribution and supply of media services.
Ehsan Kaveh: holds a BA of cinema from the IRIB University, and an MA in media management from Tehran University. He was the director of broadcast at Press TV during the years 2006 and 2007, director of IP video production from 2009 until 2013, manager of QTV network in 2013-2014, and Tehran Network director in 2014-2015. Since 2015, he has been managing the Center of TV and Animation arts. He has also produced and directed various works in the field of media and TV.
Ahmad Noroozi: PHD in media management from Tehran University, researcher, translator and author in the field of media and international affairs mainly in the field of anti-colonialism. He was the director of the Europe and US desk for the virtual media association during 2011-2013, and the editor of interviews and op-eds of the official website of leader of the Islamic Revolution Khamenei.ir during 2014-2017. He also served other posts and currently is the international public relations manager of the Execution of Imam Khomeini's Order (EIKO).
Hussein Panahi Darcheh: an activist who has been vigorous in the international media field since 2014. He has been attending numerous important international festivals and events since then. He served as the director of the international arts and media center in 2012-2013, international programs supply department head in Ayat Media in 2014-2015, and the general manager of Ayat Media in Tehran since 2017 among other titles as well.
It is worth mentioning that the fifteenth Resistance International Film Festival will be held this year in the Iranian month of Azar (November), coinciding with the remembrance of the Basij (mobilization) week which will take place under the patronage of Mohamad Khazaei.
